The Luberon region is amazing and will captivate you with its full range of lavender colors, vineyards, villages on top of the hills, medieval castles everywhere and Roman architecture in most of the cities. If you want to have a general overview of the villages, this tour is made for you!
You'll start with the village of Lourmarin, famous for its 15th-century castle. Thereafter, head towards Bonnieux, a picture-perfect Provençal village on top of which stands a 12th-century church. You'll then arrive in Roussillon and be enchanted by this charming colorful village with houses painted in ochre.
Your last stop is Gordes, a dry stone village on a hilltop with a Renaissance-style castle. This is an area often chosen by many film producers for the sets of their movies. It was, for example, the location for Ridley Scott's film 'A Good Year'. After this unforgettable tour, you'll head back to Aix-en-Provence.
