Rethymnon stadstour en markt

Je hebt deze ochtend alle tijd om het romantische Rethymnon op je gemak te bekijken. Je rijdt naar West-Kreta voor een bezoek aan Rethymnon. Daar staat je volop geschiedenis, architectuur en charmante hoekjes te wachten.Meteen van bij aankomst doe je precies waar jij zin in hebt. Slenter langs de kraampjes op de wekelijkse markt en snuif de verleidelijke geuren van de verse producten op, het water loopt je in de mond. En je vindt er vast een mooi souvenir voor huis. Het imposante fort wil je ook niet missen. Je loopt er in een web van smalle, kronkelige stegen met betoverende oude gebouwen.Of je doet het rustig aan en kuiert langs de schilderachtige Venetiaanse haven. De felgekleurde vissersboten vormen een mooi plaatje, zo dobberend op de turkooizen zee. En je strijkt neer op een van de vele traditionele cafés en restaurants om te genieten van het relaxte Mediterrane leven.
