Wieliczkan suolakaivos on yksi arvokkaimmista ja kiehtovimmista kulttuuriperintökohteista Puolassa. Wieliczkan kaupungissa, eteläisessä Puolassa sijaitseva kaivos rakennettiin 1300-luvulla ja se tuotti suolaa aina vuoteen 2007 asti. Vaikka kaupallinen toiminta päättyi jo vuonna 1996 alhaisen suolan hinnan ja tulvien vuoksi, on kaivos pysynyt yhtenä Puolan suositummista nähtävyyksistä, ja vuosittain kaivoksella vierailee yli 1,2 miljoonaa turistia. Suolasta veistettyjä, kaivoksen työntekijöiden tekemiä historiallisia patsaita ja hahmoja tullaan ihailemaan ympäri maailmaa. Todellinen nähtävyys on kuitenkin suolasta valmistettu kappeli, jota käytetään vieläkin yksityistilaisuuksiin, jopa vihkimisiin.
