Retken kuvaus

Luontoäidin kädenjälki ei ole ainoa, joka näkyy Lanzarotella. Tällä puolen päivän retkellä tutustut tarkemmin yhteen saaren kuuluisimmista henkilöistä. Vierailet hänen suunnittelemissaan Jameos del Aguassa ja Mirador del Rion näköalapaikalla. Näet myös Kanariansaarten vanhimman kylän, Teguisen. Cristina, yksi oppaistamme, sanoo: "Paikallinen taiteilija Cesar Manrique oli Lanzarotelle sama kuin Gaudi Barcelonalle. Hänen arkkitehtoninen näkemyksensä ja aktiivisuutensa ovat jättäneet meille ainutlaatuisen tyylin, joka on sopusoinnussa vulkaanisten maisemiemme kanssa. Hän myös auttoi saaren suojelussa vastustaen korkeita hotelleja, joita saarella näkee hyvin vähän."

Retki alkaa Cesar Manriquen suunnittelemasta kompleksista, joka on rakennettu Jameos del Aguan vulkaanisten luolien ympärille. Hän muutti ne yökerhoksi 60-luvulla. Lava on yhä käytössä, mutta nykyään pääosassa ovat harvinaiset valkoiset ravut suolavesilammessa. Seuraavaksi matkaat dramaattisten maisemien halki Mirador del Rion näköalapaikalle, joka on toinen Manriquen mestariteos. Lähes 500 metriä merenpinnan yläpuolella sijaitsevalta näköalapaikalta avautuvat lyömättömät näkymät La Graciosan saarelle.

Pistäydyttyäsi aloe vera -tilalla oppimassa kasvin salaisuuksista, kuljet kauniiden kylien läpi matkalla Teguiseen. Tämä saaren entinen pääkaupunki on historiallinen kylä, jossa on useita huomiota herättäviä palatseja, luostareita, kappeleita ja kirkkoja – kaikki kävelymatkan päässä toisistaan. Timanfaya Volcanic Tour

This half-day tour is Lanzarote in a nutshell. You'll call in at El Golfo lagoon, journey through Timanfaya National Park and visit the Salinas de Janubio. We'll even throw in a wine tasting session to round off the tour.First up, you'll visit the waters of El Golfo - it's emerald waters have starred in many a Hollywood film over the years. Rancho Texas Lanzarote Park with Transfers

Enjoy a day out at this popular, beautifully maintained Wild West, animal and water park.
