Retken kuvaus

Meksikoon tutustumisesta tuli juuri paljon helpompaa. Tällä koko päivän seikkailulla pääset jopa neljän aktiviteetin kimppuun. Teet opastetun kierroksen Tulumin arkeologisella alueella, uit cenotessa, snorklaat Akumalissa ja nautit lounaan rantaklubilla. Carmen, yksi paikallisoppaistamme, kertoo: "Arkeologisen alueen kuvatuin rakennus on El Castillo, joka sijaitsee jyrkänteellä Karibianmerelle päin. Vaikka El Castillo onkin tunnetuin, siellä on paljon muitakin muinaisia mayajäännöksiä, kuten laskeutuvan jumalan temppeli ja freskojen temppeli."

Opit Tulumin opastetulla kierroksella sen menneisyydestä muurien ympäröimänä kaupunkina ja sen entisestä roolista kauppapaikkana. Kierroksen jälkeen sinulla on vapaata aikaa tutustua kaupunkiin omaan tahtiisi. Seuraavaksi pääset nauttimaan väriloistosta muinaisessa mayojen cenotessa – pyhässä luonnon muovaamassa luolassa, jossa on makean veden allas.

Virkistävän uinnin jälkeen suuntaamme viehttävään Akumaliin, joka on tunnettu rennosta ilmapiiristään, kauniista luonnostaan ja rikkaasta vedenalaisesta elämästään, minkä vuoksi se on yksi Riviera Mayan parhaista snorklauspaikoista. Had a brilliant day, Felix was great, informative and made the day fun. He was also very good when I got anxious a couple of times in the water. Seeing turtles was the highlight of the day for us and we would definitely recommend this excursion. Lunch was good and water and snacks provided during the day. We did find similar trips that worked out a lot less money but liked the convenience that taxes and entrance fee's were sorted and paid for us.

Good trip overall, nice to be able to do multiple activities that we had looked at in one go. Your guide was very good and informative. Would recommend to anyone. I can see the other comments about it being rushed, it is slightly rushed but not to bad, if you want a good tour but not wandering around at a steady it’s for you. Only negative comment the picture price, you aren’t aloud to take cameras/phones into the cenote, which is fine as it is dark but the £60 for just cenote pictures is steep
