Explore Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, rich in history, high in energy and home to an impressive culinary scene, foodies unite on the streets of Gastown.

You'll be led through Gastown's cobbled stone streets to taste local craft beer, Japanese Kar-age style chicken, freshly made Sicilian tortellini with local wine, poutine - a typical dish made of hand-cut fries with homemade gravy and cheese curd, crispy sweet-and-chili cauliflower, organic smooth soft ice cream and decadent waffles.

  • The tour covers approximately 5 blocks. 5 of the stops are sit-down. The tour is on a schedule, although slower paced, as tour guides stop to show points of interest in the neighborhood. There are 3 stops with stairs, and only one of them has an elevator
  • A minimum of 4 guests is required to operate this tour (applicable Oct-May only). If this number is not reached, the local operator will contact you a day in advance to reschedule or offer a refund
  • Tours run rain or shine. It's suggested to dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes
  • Participants under the age of 19 must be accompanied by an adult

    The tour takes you some of the best restaurants and breweries in Gastown. Found the tour information above par and the food good. Definitely good tour first day in Vancouver. Gives you ideas and lay of the land.
