Retken kuvaus

Tällä päiväretkellä tutustut Kyproksen historiaan, kulttuuriin ja keittiöön. Luvassa on kolmen kopla: eläväinen Limassolin kaupunki, viehttävä Omodoksen kylä ja viininmaistajaiset palkitulla viinitilalla.

Aloitat päiväsi Limassolissa, jossa vanha ja uusi sulautuvat saumattomasti yhteen. Sinulla on noin tunti vapaata aikaa tutustua kaupunkiin ja nauttia paikan tunnelmasta. Kävele venesatamassa, pistäydy linnassa tai istahda kahville – valinta on sinun.

Sitten suuntaat Troodos-vuorten keskellä sijaitsevaan Omodoksen kylään. Teet opastetun kävelykierroksen kapeilla mukulakivikaduilla, joita koristavat bysanttilaistyyliset rakennukset. Kun olet käynyt vanhalla viinitilalla ja kuullut, miten viiniä valmistettiin ennen vanhaan, on aika levätä ja nauttia lounas perheomisteisessa tavernassa.
