The correspondence with Travco was poor. We asked a couple of times for a copy of itinerary but we’re sent only a partial copy despite chasing. It was our guide who finally gave us a copy. It’s a lot of money to spend to not be sure of what you’re doing. However, the trip was excellent and our guide Mohamed Zahar was fantastic! His knowledge was amazing, he made everything run so smoothly. It’s a long couple of days but completely worth it. Drivers were great too. Would definitely recommend.

Day one: start your journey with a scenic drive from your hotel in Hurghada towards Cairo, along the Red Sea coast. Once arrived in Giza, you'll be introduced to the last remaining wonder of the ancient world, the Pyramids. Marvel at these colossal tombs and unearth its secrets before being amazed by the Great Sphinx. Following this, a set lunch awaits you at a local restaurant before checking into your hotel. Later, you'll spend a fun evening of entertainment on the Nile with a dinner cruise. You'll listen to traditional music accompanied by a belly dancer, witness a Tanoora show and enjoy an open buffet dinner.
Day two: you'll leave your hotel and travel towards Salah El-din Citadel, an icon of Cairo that housed Egyptian rulers for nearly 700 years. From there, journey through the fascinating Old Cairo towards the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities, rich with exceptional treasures, including the mummies and the gilded mummy mask of Yuya and Thuya—among the most spectacular ever found in the Valley of the Kings—remarkable for their extraordinary preservation and lifelike features. After lunch, if the weather is good, take the opportunity to experience a Nile felucca tour, rounding off your immersive Cairo adventure.
