You'll kick things off by making your way down the narrow, cobbled streets of the capital, passing the ramparts of the old castle as you go – with your knowledgeable guide giving you plenty of insight into some quirky points of interest. Eleni says, ‘Corfu has long been strategically important, guarding the route between the Ionian and the Adriatic Sea. Over the centuries, our island has passed through the hands of Romans, Byzantines, Venetians, Goths, and more recently the English and the French. You can see their influences all over the island, but especially in Corfu town.'
After the tour, you'll enjoy a sundowner harbour cruise around Vidos island in the bay. Sit back on deck and watch the reflections dance on the water as you glide back to port.
