Retken kuvaus

Läntinen Teneriffa rannikkoteineen, korkealle kohoavine kallioineen sekä laaksoihin laskeutuvine kylineen on ehdottomasti tutustumisen arvoinen. Tällä minibussilla tehtävällä kierroksella maistelet paikallisia tuotteita Icod de Los Vinosissa, kiertelet Tenon luonnonpuistossa ja vierailet pienissä kylissä. Arianne, yksi oppaistamme, sanoo: "Tutustut Teneriffan menneisyyteen, vaikuttaviin maisemiin sekä saaren historiaan ja kulttuuriin."

Kaikki alkaa Icod de Los Vinosista. Opastetulla kierroksella näet vuosisatoja vanhan kanariantraakkipuun, tutustut siirtomaatyyliseen arkkitehtuuriin ja pääset maistamaan muutamaa paikallista tuotetta. Seuraavaksi vuorossa on 'kadonnut kylä', Masca. Se sijaitsee korkealla harjanteella upeassa laaksossa, ja on ehdottomasti yksi Teneriffan ihastuttavimmista paikoista.

Sitten suuntaat rannikolla sijaitsevaan Garachicoon ja saat selville, miksi se tunnetaan saaren "kauneimpana ja epäonnisimpana" kaupunkina. It's one pretty village after another on this exclusive tour in the rugged northwest of Tenerife. We'll drop in at a roll call of the island's must-visits.
